Adding & Subtracting Functions For Test

Remember this is how you add and subtract functions

f(x) + g(x) = ( f + g ) (x)
f(x) - g(x) = ( f - g ) (x)

EXAMPLE :

f(x) = 5x - 10
g(x) = 3x + 7

(5x- 10 + 3x + 7) =  8x - 3
(5x- 10 - 3x + 7 ) = -8x - 3
