Slope

m = \frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x} = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} = \frac{8 - 2}{13 - 1} = \frac{6}{12} = \frac{1}{2}.

This is just an example, but DO NOT forget to line up the Ys and Xs.
For Example as you see above, it is
Y2 - Y1
------------
X2 - X1

Do not forget this!!
