Rationalize the Denominator

Ex. The square root of 121/7, the same thing is the square root of 121 over the square root of 7.

=11/the square root of 7

Next, multiply this fraction by the square root of 7 over the square root of 7, this equals 1.

=11 SQRT 7/7

Now, the denominator has a rational number, 7.
